On October 5, Sisters in Spirit vigils where held across the province of Alberta to remember MMIW2S+ in Turtle Island.
In the city of Calgary, Redbeats meet up with Dwight Good Eagle Farahat also known as Tribe 1491 who is the executive director of the Tribe Artist Society which is an Indigenous-led Hip Hop and arts organization.
Their goal is to help artists become their most powerful selves by providing access to Indigenous-friendly artistic spaces, education, coaching and mentorship.
Tribe 1491 preformed a un-released song at the Sisters in Spirit vigil which told the story of MMIW2S+ from the perspective of a child
